Biography Ahmed Shawky is currently a research fellow at the University of Tokyo under Prof. Murayama’s supervision, and a senior researcher at Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Department, CMRDI, Egypt. He got his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Hokkaido University, Japan in 2012 on the growth of nanocarbon materials by an electrochemical process. His research interests are the growth of different nanomaterials including carbon nanotubes with specific properties for applications in solar cells and environmental remediation.
