Dr. Tamer Ashour Ali received his B.Sc. (Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering) and M.Sc.(Engineering Physics) from Cairo University, Faculty of Engineering in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Dr. Ali received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from Rice University, Texas USA, in 2010. Dr Ali held different positions in industry and in Academia, and he has been with Zewail City, University of Science and Technology since January 2014. In Zewail City, Dr Ali is an Associate Professor in Communications and Information Engineering program, and also he serves as the Vice Director of Accreditation Unit for Engineering Programs. Dr. Ali’s research interests include Electromagnetics and Nanophotonics, Metasurfaces, Wireless Power Transfer, Millimeter Waves for sensing and wireless communications, and Numerical/Computational methods and modeling. His research work has been recognized by the scientific/engineering society with more than 860 citations and an H-index of 8.
