Biography Emad Al-Shawakfa; an Associate Professor and a holder of a PhD in Computer Science (CS) from Illinois Institute of Technology-USA in 2000, with an MSc in CS from Middle East Technical University-Turkey in 1989, and a BSc in CS from Yarmouk University-Jordan in 1986. Dr. Al-shawakfa has been with Yarmouk University since 2000 and his research interests include; but not limited to, Arabic Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, Opinion Mining, Big Data and Big Data Analytics.
