Biography
Celso Barbosa Carvalho received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering at Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) (1999), M.S. and the Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ), Brazil (2005 and 2012). From 2000 to 2006 integrated the Research and Development (R&D) teams of FUCAPI (Foundation of Analysis Research and Technological Innovation-Amazonas/Brazil), Siemens Mobile (BenQ-Amazonas/Brazil) and CETELI (Center for Research in Electronics and Information-Amazonas/Brazil) where he worked as a R&D Engineer and project manager in projects in the areas of industrial automation, telecommunications, improvement of software development processes and industrial processes improvement. Since 2007, at Federal University of Amazonas as a full-time professor in both undergraduate and graduate courses of electrical engineering and computer engineering. Researches are related to IoT (mobile computing, mobile sensing, , context aware computing, wireless technologies), Industry 4.0, wireless embedded systems and wireless/mobile networks.
