Piotr Zwierzykowski has been working in the Chair of Communications and Computer Networks, Poznań University of Technology (Poland) since 1995, where he currently is Assistant Professor.
Major areas of interest
o network routing algorithms and protocols for unicast and multicast traffic streams:
o efficiency of routing protocols and algorithms,
o heuristic algorithms and protocols for multicast routing,
o genetic algorithms and protocols for multicast routing.
o traffic engineering for circuit switching, packet switching and mobile networks:
o combinatorial characteristics of switching systems,
o analytical modelling of congestion control mechanisms,
o blocking probability calculation in switching systems,
o traffic models for 2G/3G networks.
