Biography I spent the last five years developing novel glass-based adhesive technologies for orthopedic applications focusing on sternal fixation and stabilization, post median sternotomy surgery. Aside from my recent work being patent pending, I am mentoring Master’s and PhD students developing bio-materials for hemostatic applications. I have been awarded several performance and leadership awards such as Dr. Jacob and Helen Friedman Research Excellence Award for the academic year 2016-2017.
