I’m professor of aerospace and mechanical power engineering, Zagazig University, Egypt. I earned my B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Aeronautical Engineering Department, Cairo University.
I worked as a senior engineer in Maintenance, Technical Inspection, Overhaul shop and R&D departments of EgyptAir airline: Cairo Airport, Egypt for 10 years. Next, I joined Zagazig university, Egypt in 1983 and served as a chair, Mechanical Power Engineering Department, Zagazig university, in the period 1999-2005. I founded the Aero-Spacecraft Engineering program, Zagazig University, Egypt in 2015 and chaired the program up to June 2017.
I’ve designed wind tunnels in the Fluid Mechanics lab in Zagazig University, Egypt. I’ve supervised several projects handling Automotive Aerodynamics and Dynamics, Icing problems in the Intakes of Jet Engines, Erosion of compressors in jet engines and Wind Turbines.
I’m author of 13 books including:

I worked as visiting professor and invited lecturers in 9 countries (USA, UK, Belgium, Libya, Austria, Japan, China, Syria and Russia).
I worked in several projects funded by Westinghouse (USA), 1981-82 and Rolls Royce (UK) 1985, National Academy for Scientific Research, (Egypt), Arab Organization for Industry (AOI)
