Tedja S. Oepomo is an adjunct instructor in mathematics at West LA College, Riverside College, Los Angeles Harbor College, and ITT-Tech Institute-Sylmar, California. He was an engineering specialist in electromagnetic effects on electronic systems at Reusable Space Systems, Boeing North American, Inc., in Downey, California. He has participated in studies and developed SAIL grounding evaluation tests to determine the EMI/EMC implications of a common electrical reference for the SAIL grounding test facility at NASA/JSC Building 16. Mr. Oepomo obtained his insinjur’s degree from the Institute Teknology Bandung, Bandung, Indonesia, and received his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, in 1973. He earned another master’s degree in applied mathematics from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Illinois, in 1976. He is a registered professional engineer in California and New York, a member of the National Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, and a member of International Linear Algebra Society. He supported SABIRS HEO & GEO payload in the area of payload integration engineering and payload EMI/EMC self-compatibility and system level compatibility. He is currently working as an engineer for the DCMA, Defense Contract Management Agency-Raytheon, California. He is teaching undergraduate mathematics courses in the evening. His interest of research is in the area of applied linear algebra and its application to power system engineering and electromagnetic.
