Biography
Luis Mendo received the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degrees in telecommunication engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain, in 1997 and 2001, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor at UPM. His fields of research include mobile communications, radio network optimization, and statistical estimation. He has participated in numerous research projects, both with public and private funding. He is a co-author of several books, has published 14 papers in indexed journals, and is co-inventor of 5 patents.
