Power System Monitoring AI in Energy and Power Systems
Biography
Asaad El Moudi. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Gar Younis (Benghazi) University, Bengazi, Libya in 1989 and M.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering, University of Dundee, UK in 1995. He received both his Licentiate and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology (AALTO), Finland in 2004 and 2006, respectively. From 1997 to 2001 he was working as a lecturer at Seventh of April University Zawia, Libya. He was involved in power transformer projects in cooperation with ABB, Finland and Helsinki Energy. Dr. Elmoudi was assistant professor at Sultan Qaboos University Oman. He is currently faculy at Red River College Winnipeg Canada. His interests are Trasformers and power systems components modeling, simulation and condition monitoring, applications of AI in power systems
