Biography
Dr. Khashayar Yazdani is currently Associate Professor and Head of Engineering and Management Program and IR4.0 Centre of Excellence, at Malaysia University of Science and Technology. He has a Ph.D. in Technology Management from University Technology Malaysia, a Master of Science in Industrial Management from Tehran Azad University, and a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Bojnourd Azad University. He is the lecturer, researcher, consultant, supervisor, and examiner.
In 2007, he joined the Khorasan Petrochemical Complex, Bojnurd, Iran, in the maintenance management department, and in 2008 became a member of the Iranian Engineering Organization (IEO) as an electrical engineer.
Also, since September 2007, he has been with the Department of Management, Azad University of Bojnourd, as Lecturer. In the same period, he was the lecturer at the University of Bojnurd, Payam Noor University, and Industrial Management Institute. His research interests include technology transfer, knowledge transfer, invention discloser, commercialization, intellectual property and generally transferring technology from university to industry or in the other words commercialization of universities’ technology. Since January of 2015, he joined Malaysia University of Science and Technology as Research Collaborator, Senior Lecturer, and Head of Systems Engineering and Management Program.
Dr. Khashayar currently is the main supervisor of 18 Ph.D. candidates in the field of Management in MUST. Also, he supervised many master student’s theses and project papers in systems engineering and management. His academic contribution is in the field of technology transfer and information technology in a few conferences and journals.
