Biography
Dr Ashraf Ali is Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Hashemite University and Assistant Professor at the Elecetrical Engineering Department at HU. He got his PhD from University of south wales, UK in Mission Critical Communication systems. he got his MSc degree from Athens Information Technology in Athens Greece and BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from HU. He has been actively involved in research projects in UK in developing mission critical communication systems over broadband 4G/5G communication Systems with different vendors and industry partners such as General Dynamics. Along with his research interests, he has worked as a lecturer of graduate modules in University of South Wales such as Mobile Communication Technologies and a lecturer for Electrical Circuits, Signals and Systems, Engineering Mathematics, Electronics, Data and Multimedia Communications at The Hashemite University. He worked as Research Assistant at Intracom Telecom and Athens Information Technology where he worked with the industry in developing multimedia and real time services over broadband communication technologies. He worked as research assistant in the computer engineering department at Jordan University for Science and Technology. He is an author of multiple research papers in the field of multimedia services modeling, Land Mobile Satellite Communication, Health Communications, and broadband communications performance evaluation.
