Biography Yazan Dweiri has joint Jordan University of science and technology (JUST) as an Assistant Professor in the department of Biomedical Engineering in February 2016. In this role, Dr. Dweiri has taught several undergraduate level courses like digital signal processing, Microcontrollers and embedded systems, artificial prostheses and orthotics, and control and communication in the nervous systems. He also supervised several undergraduate and M.S. level students research projects in the areas of Automated Seizure detection, Biological signal acquisition, Modeling of nerve stimulation with cuff electrodes, device assisted Rehabilitation. Dr. Dweiri has earned M.S. and PhD. degrees in Biomedical Engineering in 2011, 2016 respectively from Case Western Reserve University, and a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering in 2008 from JUST.
