Heat Transfer Enhancement Multiphase Flow and Heat Transfer
Biography
Mohammadreza Kadivar was born in Shiraz, Iran, in 1985. He received his M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering - energy conversion from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Shiraz University. He is currently a graduate researcher at the Institute of Technology Sligo.
His specific expertise is employing experimental methods and computational fluid mechanics (CFD) to perform research that specifically targets the critical need for improved energy efficiency, storage, transport, and conversion. To achieve this, his research focuses on the fundamental science of fluid mechanics and heat transfer.
He has collaborating work with research centres worldwide, such as Institute for Precision Machining (Germany), Clean Energy Research Group at Pretoria University (South Africa), and Clean Energy Processes (CEP) Laboratory at the Imperial College London (UK).
Apart from research experiences, He possesses more than seven years of industrial work experience, as a mechanical engineer, in the fields of design, construction, and commissioning.
Currently, He is investigating heat transfer enhancement in single- and two-phase heat exchangers using additive manufacturing at the Institute of Technology Sligo (IT Sligo).
