Biography
I was born in Mosul in 1985, where I attended both primary and secondary schools. In 2003 I joined (Engineering College/ Computer Engineering Department) at Mosul University, where I obtained BSc and MSc in Computer Engineering in 2007 and 2009, respectively. In 2010, I started my career at (Electronics Engineering College/ Communications Department)- Ninevah University, giving lectures in Digital Techniques and DSP labs.
In 2013, I joined a scholarship sponsored by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to complete my study at the UK. After studying language at Leeds Language Centre, I started my PhD study at the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering/ Leeds University. During my study I joined the Ultrasound group, studying and developing different beamforming methods for medical ultrasound imaging. I awarded my PhD in 2017. Recently I am back to the (Electronics Engineering College/ Communications Department)- Ninevah University, where I am lecturing Microprocessors and DSP labs, in addition to continuing with scientific research, developing beamforming methods for medical ultrasound imaging.
