S. Majid Abdoli was born in Iran, in 1987, where he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. both in chemical engineering from Sahand University of Technology and Sharif University of Technology in 2010 and 2012 respectively. He was awarded a Ph.D. scholarship from MSRT of Iran in 2014 and started his PhD program at the chemical engineering faculty at Sahand University of Technology. He finished his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. S. Shafiei, and Dr. A. Ebadi, with the topic “Mechanistic Modeling of Transport Process in Porous Media by Pore Network Model" in 2018. After graduation, he joined the Sahand University of Technology (in Iran) where he worked as a PhD lecturer. His research focuses on the modeling of transport phenomena in porous media, process simulation and equipment design.
