Biography
Dr. M.T. Ahvanooey works as a Faculty Member (Assist Prof. & PD) at the School of Information Management, Nanjing University, China. He has completed his Ph.D. in Cybersecurity Engineering at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NJUST), Nanjing, China, in December 2019. He is also a Senior Programmer, Cyber-Security Researcher, and Practitioner with industry and academic experience. He is an invited reviewer of various international journals including the ACM Transactions on TOMM, IEEE Network Magazine, IEEE Access, the Computers in Human Behavior, Computers in Biology and Medicine, and the KSII TIIS, and MPiE, and PloSOne as well as several high indexed International Conferences. His research interests include Applied Cryptography, Text Hiding/Mining, Authentication Systems of Smartphones, and IoT Security. He is also a Member of the IEEE Computer Society. He also is a Senior Java Programmer and has developed several Android apps released in Android Markets such as Cafebazaar, Myket, Asr24, etc. He achieved the Third-Class Prize (Bronze Cup) at the International Innovation and Start-up Competition of Students of Hundreds of Chinese Universities for the project called "AITSteg Messenger" out of 110 projects which has been held by Nanjing Department of Human Resources and Social Security BUREAU, China, on 26-29 June 2019. He also has been distinguished as one of the top three Ph.D. talents for the CSC Elite 2019 Outstanding award by the China Scholarship Council at NJUST, in October 2019.
