Reflect- and Transmit-Array Antennas mmWave, Sub-mmWave and THz Antennas
Biography
I received the B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in electrical engineering from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran in 2010 and from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran in 2014, respectively. My master’s thesis title is “Design and Implementation of Multi Band Reflectarray Antennas Based on Metasurfaces”. During working on my thesis, I designed four reflectarray antennas including 2 bands and 3 bands. Two of them have been fabricated and measured.
I received the Ph.D degree, in electrical engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy and from the Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran as a Joint Ph.D program under the supervision of Prof. Ladislau Matekovits and Prof. Alireza Yahaghi. My thesis title is “Applications of Graphene Metasurfaces for Manipulation of Electromagnetic Waves Scattering”. During working on this thesis, I designed several applications of metasurfaces based on graphene using CST Microwave Studio such as: Reconfigurable Lens Based on Metasurfaces for focusing electromagnetic waves, Polarization Converter, Mantle Cloaking and leaky wave antenna. I published several papers in national and international conferences and journals .
