Nebras Sobahi received his bachelor’s degree in Communications and Electronics from the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi
Arabia, in 2006, also he completed the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from King
Abdulaziz University in 2013. Dr. Sobahi received another M.Sc. degree and a Ph.D. degree from
the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, Texas, United
States, in 2014 and 2017. He is currently working as an assistant professor at the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering (Biomedical Group), King Abdulaziz University. His
research interests include Microfluidics, BioMEMS, and Lab on a Chip for developing novel
microsystems that has the capabilities for high-throughput detecting and characterizing cells and
particles using impedance spectroscopy.
