Biography
Prof. Mostafa Gadal-Haqq Mohamad Mostafa received a B.Sc. (Honor) in 1984, a M.Sc. in 1989 and a Ph.D. in 1996 from the Faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He is now a Professor of Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Ain Shams University. He worked as a visiting professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Louisville, USA, in the period from 1998 to 2000. He, also joined the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Taibah University, Madinah, Saudi Arabia in the period from 2001 to 2009. He has published many scientific articles in the areas of pattern recognition in many prestigious journals and conferences locally and internationally. His research interests includes: Pattern Recognition, Arabic Optical Character Recognition, Computer Vision, Digital Image Processing, Speech Processing, and data security.
