Biography
I am a Assistant Professor at the Department of Automatic Control and Robotics, AGH University of Science and Technology Krakow, Poland. My research is focused on embedded vision systems implemented in FPGA and Zynq System on Chip devices (using hardware/software co-design). I am interested in advanced video surveillance systems (background modelling, foreground object segmentation, object recognition and tracking), as well as advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), vision systems used in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and vision system for autonomous vehicles (drones).
