Biography
Tohid Rahimi received the B.Sc. degree in power engineering from the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2011, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in system and power electronics from the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2013 and 2018, respectively. He was a Teacher Assistant during the Ph.D. course at the University of Tabriz. Also, he was a Supervisor or Advisor for several M.Sc. theses with the Meraj Higher Education Institute in Iran. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Shandong University, Jinan, China. He joined Carleton University to work on a Mitacs project and other research activities in January 2022. Now He is working with UNB in Canada.
His interests include power electronics, Reliability, EMI, Power Grid Optimization, and different fields of power engineering. Dr. Rahimi has served as an Active Reviewer for different IEEE and other scientific journals. Moreover, he was the recipient of a competitive grant awarded by China Postdoctoral Science Foundation in 2020.
