Hamzeh M. Jaradat received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and communications engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Irbid, Jordan, in 2004, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSMT), Rapid City, SD, USA, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML), Lowell, MA, USA. In 2014, he joined the department of communication engineering, Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan, where he is an Assistant Professor. His research interests are synthesis and design of RF and microwave passive devices with focus on filters, especially ultra-wide bandpass filters, low-pass filters, and bandstop filters. His current research include electromagnetics with emphasis on modeling electromagnetic wave interaction with metamaterials, antennas, and micro- and nano-scale devices, design and analysis of metamaterial in RF, THz and optical regimes, particularly mid-range infrared (IR) applications, and design and optimization of THz and IR perfect absorbing materials for narrowband and wideband applications.
