Biography Alexandre Schmid is the head of Biomedical and neuromorphic microelectronic systems group at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL). He has been with EPFL since 1994 and has been conducting research in the fields of bioelectronic interfaces, biomedical and implantable microelectronics, non-conventional signal processing (machine learning, AI) and neuromorphic hardware, and reliability of nanoelectronic circuits.
