Biography
Mahmoud Khasawneh is
a member of IEEE, who completed his M.Sc. and
Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Canada, in 2012
and 2017, respectively. Currently, he serves as an
Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer
Engineering/ Networks and Communication Engineering at Al Ain University, UAE. Prior to this, he
was associated with the American University of the
Middle East, Kuwait as an Assistant Professor for
three years (2018-2021). He has numerous scholarly
publications to his credit, including journal papers, conference papers, and a
book chapter. He has also served as a TPC member for several prestigious
conferences and as a peer reviewer for various refereed journals in the field
of computer science and engineering. His research interests mainly focus on
wireless networks, such as security, authentication, and route management,
IoT, and cognitive radio.
