Biography
She completed her PhD in Educational Sciences in 2014 at the University of Minho Institute of Education, a Master's Degree in Multimedia in 2009 at the University of Porto Faculty of Engineering, and a Degree in 2nd Cycle Primary School Teachers, Visual and Technological Education in 2003 at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança School of Education. She has been an Assistant Professor at the School of Education (ESE) of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) since 2015 and a researcher at the Center for Research in Basic Education (CIEB-IPB-Portugal). She is a member of the editorial team of the ESE/IPB journal EDUSER. She teaches in the area of educational technology on the master's degrees in ICT in Education and Training, Pedagogical Supervision and Innovation in Education, and Special and Inclusive Education at ESE/IPB. He has participated in the organizing and scientific committees of national and international congresses. He has participated as a researcher in 4 national and international projects in the field of education and ageing. He has published 1 book, 6 book chapters, edited 11 proceedings and 1 book, 10 articles in magazines, and more than 100 conference papers. His research focuses on digital technologies applied to education, pedagogical innovation, intergenerational and lifelong education, digital citizenship, emerging technologies applied to education, ageing, and development.
