Biography
Amr M. Abdelhady received the B.Sc. degree with honors in Communications and Computer Engineering from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 2012, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2016, and 2021, respectively. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. His general research interests lie in communications theory, signal processing for communications with special emphasis on Non-terrestrial networks and optical wireless communications systems. Specific research areas include UAV communications, visible light communications, green communications, energy harvesting, and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces.
