Biography
Dr. Esam A. alQaralleh, Ph.D., holds the Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering position within the Computer Engineering Department at the King Abdullah II School of Engineering, Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) in Amman, Jordan. Dr. Qaralleh became part of the PSUT community in June 2006 and has been a dedicated educator and researcher.
Over the years, he has delivered a wide range of courses for graduate and undergraduate students and contributed to the field with over 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications. Dr. Qaralleh's commitment to the academic community goes beyond the classroom. He has taken on key roles in organizing numerous IEEE conferences, both locally and regionally.
As an active senior IEEE member, he has played a crucial role in coordinating various IEEE events in Jordan. He has been an active member of accreditation advisory boards, international conference scientific committees, technical program committees, and organizational committees. Dr. Qaralleh brings a wealth of industrial experience, having worked in computer engineering at various institutions in Jordan and Taiwan prior to and throughout his academic career.
Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Qaralleh has accumulated extensive experience in curriculum design and pedagogy in higher education and has led several accreditation committees to achieve national and international recognition. His leadership extends to senior positions such as Dean and Vice-Dean of the School of Engineering and Department Chair.
Dr. Qaralleh's dedication to nurturing talent is evident through his mentorship of numerous student scientific clubs, which have actively participated in regional and international competitions.
