Biography
Faizad Ullah is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), working under the supervision of Dr. Asim Karim at the Knowledge and Data Engineering (KADE) Lab. His research focuses on low-resource NLP tasks, including hate speech and cybercrime detection. He has published his work at leading venues including EMNLP, LREC, COLING, ICONIP, ACM Transactions, Nature Portfolio, and Springer.
He is currently affiliated with Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Lahore, where he has been serving for the past 3 years. Prior to joining FCCU, he was affiliated with BNU Lahore and FAST Karachi and also worked at the National Center of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) at the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan.
