Eshan Pradhan is a student at Independence High School, Class of 2027. His academic interests focus on computational biomedical engineering and artificial intelligence, particularly the application of physics-informed neural networks to biological and medical systems. He is a member of his school’s Science Olympiad team and has completed coursework in AP Chemistry and AP Computer Science.
In addition to his academic studies, Eshan has conducted independent research in physiological system modeling and scientific machine learning, aiming to improve the interpretability and clinical relevance of AI models in healthcare. His project, MIRA, submitted to EngiTek 2026, focuses on mechanistic modeling of wound healing using coupled reaction-diffusion systems and inverse parameter inference from clinical data.
Looking ahead, he plans to pursue a degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, or a related field to further contribute to the development of interpretable AI systems in healthcare.
