Biography Potiguar. Graduated in computer science, trained in the IC-Brazil program. Master's in Computer Science. Siemens 2011 Finalist. Author of over ten bestsellers, with books sold in Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, England, Canada, the United States, Germany, France, Japan, India, Spain, and Italy. I started my career at the Renato Archer Institute in the integrated circuit designer training program. In this program, I had the opportunity to learn RTL coding, verification, and synthesis. I used Specman to verify our RFID. After this program, I worked at the SMDH on the verification team. Project description: ZR16S08 is a microcontroller unit that includes analog and digital blocks, offering great performance/cost and 6 mW power consumption. It includes an 8-bit microprocessor with a 4 MHz internal oscillator, 1024 x 16-bit program memory, 256 x 8-bit SRAM data memory, and configurable interrupts. In response to INPE's demand, the goal of this project is to develop an integrated circuit (IC) capable of interpreting telecommand packets from Earth stations. This IC is a mixed-signal device widely used in embedded electronic systems for satellites. This function is currently implemented using several discrete components, which requires considerable area and adds significant weight to the satellite's platform compared to a single IC. Tools: Irun, Vcs, Simvision, Vplanner, Vmanager. Languages & Methodologies: System Verilog, VHDL, UVM, Perl, ZR16 Toolkit, gdb, assembly. Roles and responsibilities: I have worked in the Digital Verification IP Team. I worked on the verification team, initially reviewing the testbench to understand why the tests failed. I tested using the gdb tool and found a discrepancy between the SystemC language and Incisiv. I worked on correcting failures and migrating System C to UVM in SMDH. With UVM, I started creating tests for blocks, the ZR16S08 and ZR16LP microcontrollers, verification environments, and test cases in assembly. I was responsible for the environment and for integrating the analog and digital blocks in the ZR16LP for testing in UVM. I created a test case assembly for the microcontroller (SPI, Timer, and Core). In the radiation-tolerant cell development project, I developed the clock tree tests and all the blocks involved. I was the leader of the check team for the physical post-synthesis phase; this part of the project included tests for external memories: all test documentation and the functional coverage plan. I also worked on the Brazilian Army's secrecy project.
