Mohammad A. Alzubaidi is a Professor of Computer Engineering at Yarmouk University, Jordan. He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from the Ira Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University in 2012. During his PhD, in joint work with Mayo Clinic Hospital, he developed novel computational methods to solve decision making problems in the medical field, as well as to facilitate medical training.
His research areas are machine learning and its applications, assistive embedded systems, and bioinformatics.
Alzubaidi was assigned to several administrative roles at Yarmouk University. In 2016, he was the Assistant to Dean of Engineering. In 2017, he was appointed the Director of Academic Entrepreneurship and Excellence Center. In 2018, he served as the Head of the Quality Assurance Division at the university. In 2019, he was the Deputy Director of International Relations and Projects. In 2020, he was the Chairman of Computer Engineering the Vice Dean of Engineering. In 2023, he was the Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies. In 2024, Alzubaidi was the Dean of Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology at Yarmouk University.
