Kuei-Ping Shih received the B.S. degree in mathematics from Fu-Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, in June 1991 and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and information engineering from the National Central University, Taiwan, in June 1998. He joined the faculty of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Tamkang University, Taiwan, as an Assistant Professor in 2000. Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, Tamkang University, Taiwan. His current research interests include network protocol designs for wireless networks. Dr. Shih is a member of the IEEE Computer Society, the IEEE Communication Society, and the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society.
