Khaled ElMahgoub, received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics and electrical communications Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He received his PhD degree in electrical engineering from the University of Mississippi, USA, 2010. ElMahgoub is a senior member of IEEE, member of ACES, and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. From 2007 to 2010, he has been a teaching and research assistant at the University of Mississippi. From 2001 to 2006, he has been a teaching and research assistant at Cairo University. Currently he is working as senior validation engineer at Trimble. He has more than 4 years of experience in Industry (IBM, Motorola, ICL, and Alcatel). Throughout his academic years, he published more than 30 technical journal and conference papers. He is the main co-author of two books entitled "Enhancements to Low Density Parity Check Codes: Application to the WiMAX System" and "Scattering Analysis of Periodic Structures Using Finite-Difference Time-Domain". ElMahgoub is editor assistant for ACES journal and reviewer for IEEE transactions, ACES, PIER and Elsevier Journals. His current research interests include RFID systems, channel coding, FDTD, antenna design, and numerical techniques for electromagnetic.
