Biography Assim Sagahyroon received the Ph.D degree in Computer Engineering from University of Arizona and a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University. He was a tenured faculty with the department of computer science engineering at Northern Arizona University from 1993 to 1999 and then joined the department of math and computer science at California State University. He worked in industry with Lucent and Zhone technologies. He is currently an associate professor with the department of computer science and engineering at the American university of Sharjah. His research interests include power consumption and testing of VLSI designs, hardware description languages, FPGAs, and innovative applications of emerging technology.
