Dr. Mumtaz YILMAZ received the B.Sc., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees all in Electrical&Electronics Engineering from Ege University in 1999, Dokuz Eylul University in 2002, and Dokuz Eylul University in 2010 respectively. Since 2000 he has been working as a research assistant at Department of Electrical&Electronics Engineering at Dokuz Eylul University. He worked as a visiting researcher at Wireless Communication Laboratory of Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University in 2007. His main reseach interests include channel coding for wireless communications, MIMO communication systems and cooperative communication techniques.
