Dr. Vibha Rani Gupta received her bachelor’s , master’s and PhD degrees in electronics and communication Engineering, from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India.in the 1986,1994 and 2007 respectively. She started her career as Lecturer in the Government Women’s Polytechnic, Gorakhpur in April 1987. Subsequently she joined M/s Mimec Engineers, Ranchi in September 1994 as Service cum System Engineer. Later, serving as Lecturer at the Government Women’s Polytechnic, Ranchi, under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar during the period November 1994 to January 2000, she also worked as Visiting Lecturer at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi from February 1997 to 2000. In 2000, she is joined as a full-time Lecturer and presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. She has published more than forty research papers in several journals and conferences.Her field of interest is to design an antennas and circuits for various applications, which not only fulfill the requirements of the applications but are also electromagnetically compatible and produces lowest possible interference with other circuits. Using unconventional materials such as polymers, composites etc. Her field of interest also includes material characterization at microwave frequencies and its applications for the prediction of disease and measurement of purity of materials.
