Dr. Rassoul Amirfattahi was born in Isfahan, Iran in 1969. He received his B.S, M.S and Ph.D degrees all in Electrical Engineering from Isfahan University of technology and AmirKabir University of technology (The Tehran Polytechnic) in 1993, 1995 and 2002 respectively. From 2002 he joined to Isfahan University of technology (IUT) while he is currently an assistant professor and head of digital signal processing research laboratory at department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Amirfattahi is also director of Bioelectronics and Biomedical Engineering research group at Biotechnology research institute of IUT. His researches of interests are digital image and speech processing, biomedical signal processing, medical imaging, IR imaging in medicine and industry and Biological system modeling. By the now, he published more than 100 technical papers in national and international conferences and journals.
