Yalcin Isler received the B.Sc. degree in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anadolu University, Eskisehir, Turkey, in 1993, the M.Sc. degree from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Suleyman Demirel University, Isparta, Turkey, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey, in 2009. From 1993 to 2000, he was Lecturer at Burdur Vocational School, Suleyman Demirel University. He worked as Software Engineer from 2000 to 2002. He was research assistant in Zonguldak Karaelmas University from 2002 to 2003 and in Dokuz Eylul University from 2003 to 2010. He was Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Zonguldak Karaelmas University from 2010 to 2012. He has been working as Assistant Professor with the Department of Biomedical Engineering in Izmir Katip Celebi University since 2012. His main research interests are in the field of biomedical engineering, signal processing, medical device design, computational neuroscience, and microcontroller-based board design. He is involved in several national projects on computer science in medicine and on other fields that required using and designing a microcontroller-based board. He was an IEEE Student Member from 2009 to 2011 and has been members of IEEE, IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, and IEEE Signal Processing Society since 2011.
