I am currently pursuing Masters degree in Nanoscience & Technology in Nile University and work as Research Assistant in Center for Nanoscience & Technology, Nile University. I believe Nanotechnology is the only field which will allow me to fulfil my personal dream in influencing other people’s lives for the better and quench my thirst for scientific knowledge.
I am always keen to keep up to date with progress in the scientific field, through working as a hospital and community pharmacist for a long period of my life, through being an active member in Medscape for continuing pharmacy education, through courses with the USAID Global Health eLearning Centre, through Health & Safety workshops and through being an active member in the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). I also passed Australian Pharmacy Council Knowledge Assessment of Pharmaceutical Sciences (KAPS) exam in September 09.
Through my work experience in the British Council as Projects Officer, along with many other work experiences in my life, I learnt advanced communication and project management skills. I also undertook a certificate in Marketing accredited from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.
I have always been interested in the notion of 'Philanthropy'. That is why I am an active member in many local community service NGOs that aim to help the society and poor. I participated in the field hospitals in both Egypt and Libya revolutions through Emergency and Relief Agency of Arab Medical Union. Also, I am a member in many international inter-cultural organizations that aim to build gaps between East & West like Soliya and Young SIETAR (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research).
Being chosen from hundreds of facilitators to represent youth from all over the world in the US – Islamic forum held in Doha in February 09 was one of the situations in which I proved my leadership skills and my commitment to help my society.
