Biography BOUZID Merouane received the Doctorat degree from the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (USTHB), Algiers, Algeria, in 2006. Between 2000 and 2001, he worked as a Research Associate in Systems architecture division at the research center of Advanced Technologies (CDTA), Algiers. In 2002, he joined the Telecommunication Department, Electronics faculty, USTHB University, where he is currently an Assistant Professor and Senior Research member at Speech Communication and Signal Processing Laboratory (USTHB). His research interests include data compression, joint source-channel coding, speech communication, robust speech coding, secure speech coding, speech synthesis, VoIP systems.
