Title
Flat Fading Time-Variant MIMO Channel
Estimation Based on Raised Cosine Expansion under Orthogonal Codes Transmission
Authors
Abstract
We propose a simple channel estimation technique
for time-varying (TV) flat fading MIMO channels based on basis
expansion models combined with orthogonal spreading codes for
the input multiple antenna signal. A great advantage of this
modeling is the computational load reduction of the channel
estimation. We focus on channel characterization based on raised
cosine basis function to interpolate the channel coefficients in the
absence of channel state information (CSI). Channel coefficients
are estimated based on the MMSE criterion.
