Αcquired her diploma in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens at 1994 and her PhD from the same institute at 2000. Her major field of study is high frequencies electronics, in navigation and telecommunication systems, microwave circuits, EM simulation and antennas.
She has worked in standards and design specifications for Hellenic Public Power Corporation, in EU projects for Intracom, and in Moscow via internship. She has taught Electronics and Computers in Hellenic Army Academy, for 10 years. She teaches Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits in Microelectronics Master Program since 1998. She cooperates as a researcher with Microwaves Laboratory in National Technical University of Athens. She has published more than 20 publications in international journals and conferences.
Dr. Karagianni is now Assistant Professor in Hellenic Naval Academy, Sector of Battle Systems, Naval Operations, Sea Studies, Navigation, Electronics and Telecommunications.
