Mr. Kashif Naeem Bangash earned his MSc degree from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan. Since October 2012 registered as PhD student in Glasgow Caledonian University Scotland, UK. Engaged in research work "POWER SYSTEM MODELING AND ANALYSIS FOR DESIGN, CONTROL AND CONDITITON MONITORING OF FUTURE GRID".
From January, 2008 onwards working as Lab Instructor in Power systems lab at American University of Sharjah, UAE. Mr. Bangash was appointed as executive engineer in the Pakistan Ministry of Defense and deputed for two years as an instructor in the Military Engineering Services School. He worked as a power system analyst and control engineer for five years in the National Load Dispatch Centre, Islamabad, Pakistan. For three years, he worked with multinational consultant companies during the construction of the 1450MW Ghazi Barotha Hydro Electric Power House, Pakistan. He also worked as an electrical maintenance engineer in the ceramic industry of Pakistan and taught for a short time at the Khyber Institute of Technology in Peshawar, Pakistan. His areas of research and interest are power system operation and control, power system analysis, smart grid and distributed Power systems and FACTS devices.
