Biography Ahmed Osman received his PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada. He has been an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary, Canada. His areas of interest include applications of microprocessors in protection and monitoring of power systems. His work involves design, implementation and testing of protective relays, applications of artificial intelligence and signal processing of power systems.
