Antila, Erkki Onni Elmer, currently holds a professorship in Electrical Engineering and Automation at the University of Vaasa as of year 2007. Since 2010 he has also been Dean at the Faculty of Technology and Vice-Rector, Community Relations at the University of Vaasa. I received my academic Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Helsinki University of Technology in 2003. I am a doctoral student at the School of Electrical Engineering of the Aalto University. In the past I have held managerial positions at ABB, Distribution Automation, and Oy Strömberg Ab, for thirty years. My positions extensively covered various fields of power system electronics, communications and automation. Languages: Finnish, Swedish and English. Hobbies: photography, reading, golf and fitness training.
