Biography Yeongkwun Kim received the BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Kwang-woon University, Seoul Korea in 1983 and 1985, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois in 1996. He has worked for the Korea Telecom R&D group as a senior research engineer and the Lucent Technologies as a technical engineer. He is currently a Professor of Computer Science at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. His research interests include mobile wireless communication, vehicular ad-hoc network and network management systems.
