She received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering
from the Technical University of Madrid, Madrid,
Spain, in February 1998.
She is currently a Professor with Carlos III University
of Madrid, where she has occupied a variety
of management positions, particularly in the
Communications Research Group and the Laboratory
of Communication Systems for Security and
Space in the Scientific Park. She has participated in
several national and international research projects
related to wireless communications.
