Biography
Dr. Víctor Monzón Baeza obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University Carlos III of Madrid (Spain). He was awarded the 2019 best Ph.D.
award by this institution. He is a professor at the University Carlos III of Madrid (Spain) teaching about satellite and 5G communications, IoT technology
and signal theory. Also he is at the University Oberta Cataluña (Spain) directing final academic papers where he has directed more than 30 academic projects.
Moreover, he works in private sector companies for the Defense and Space fields, coordinating research and development projects for ESA, NATO, European Comission
at an international level. Currently, his different lines of research are related to satellite communications, signal processing for wireless communications
(5G and beyond), IoT, blockchain, Massive MIMO systems, visible light communications for Smart Cities. In this area, he is author of more than 20 publications
in international JCR indexed journals, conference proceedings and other scientific media.
