Received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer science from the University of Jordan, Jordan, in 2008 and 2012; respectively.
During her master degree, her research focused on Adhoc Networks, securing wireless networks in general and wireless sensor networks in particular.
She received a Research Practice Certificate form Birmingham City University, UK, in 2015.
She was awarded Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship (MSCA-ITN) in 2016, for innovation training as part of the Privacy&Us project, for which she is currently a PhD candidate (in the last stage of the research) at FAU, Germany.
Besides research related tasks, Lamya has an experience in software development (for almost 6 years) and teaching assistance.
